The Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative (SECC) is excited to release a new paper, “Empowering Consumers Through the Energy Transition”, that highlights successful programs, services and strategies for residential and small business customers centered around the key themes explored in the “2023 State of the Consumer” report.
The paper shares real-life examples from electricity providers across the United States, including DTE, Cobb EMC, Evergy, Salt River Project, Xcel Energy and many others, organized by what’s broadly available to consumers today, what’s being tested through pilot programs and what’s being envisioned for the next era of energy.
Highlighted examples include an analytics-driven time-of-use (TOU) rate transition, an electric vehicle (EV) charging rebate program, a fleet electrification program for small business customers, an equity-focused decarbonization strategy, a free LED light bulb promotion for lower-income customers and much more.
Download the new white paper now to discover more than a dozen brief case studies on what’s working in the customer-centric energy transition and what electricity providers have planned for the years ahead. And if you still haven’t read the “2023 State of the Consumer” report yet, you can download that report here.
