We’re excited to announce that nominations are now open for SECC's 2024 Best Practices Awards, a unique awards program that highlights leadership from electricity providers in developing consumer-centric programs, services and strategies.

For the seventh annual awards, we will again recognize providers in six categories, including the Energy Equity Award, which was introduced with the 2022 awards to recognize initiatives that are advancing a more equitable energy system. The other categories are Consumer Education, Smart Energy Innovation, SMB Engagement, Consumer Engagement and Culture Transformation.

The nominations window will close on Friday, October 13, and nominations will be reviewed in November by an independent advisory panel. The six winners will be contacted in early December, and we will officially announce the winners in February 2024 at the 2024 Consumer Symposium at DISTRIBUTECH International in Orlando.
