Annual “State of the Consumer” report tracks latest trends in the utility-customer relationship
The “2018 State of the Consumer” report synthesizes the major themes from our 2017 consumer research into six key takeaways for electricity providers and other stakeholders on the state of the utility-customer relationship today.
The yearly report found that consumers want cleaner energy sources, and many, particularly millennials, are willing to pay a premium to access renewable energy from their electricity providers. The report also indicates that many consumers are interested in and ready for new utility programs, like prepaid billing, real-time energy usage data and dynamic pricing.
