Summertime Energy Savings: Utility Case Studies

In the second webinar in the series on summertime energy savings, we reviewed several programs from Entergy New Orleans and Ameren Illinois designed to help residential customers save energy over the summer months.

First, Ameren Illinois discussed their success with smart thermostats as a measure in residential programs. The presentation put a special focus on reaching income-eligible customers and covered a large-scale smart thermostat customer engagement campaign.

Then, we learned about several programs from Entergy New Orleans’ residential energy efficiency portfolio, including income-qualified weatherization, lighting and appliance rebates, an online marketplace and more.
