Download SECC's "New York Consumer Pulse" report, a detailed look at New Yorkers’ awareness of and attitudes toward REV, the smart grid, smart meters and related products and services, produced in partnership by SECC and the New York State Smart Grid Consortium (NYSSGC).
The New York Consumer Pulse report found that while 20 percent of New Yorkers are aware of state's REV initiative, half of New Yorkers (50 percent) indicate that they are interested in learning more about the initiative, and more than half (56 percent) support the overall REV goals.
The survey also revealed insights on New Yorkers’ support for their electricity providers’ clean energy expansion, preferred choice of electricity provider, frequency of contact with their electricity providers, use of social media for energy-related information and more.
