Racial Disparities Among Lower-Income Energy Consumers

SECC's Nathan Shannon joined by Marie D'Arrigo from Maru/Matchbox and Erick Jones from Texas Energy Poverty Research Institute shared the key findings from the SECC's “Racial Disparities Among Lower-Income Energy Consumers” white paper, which sought to find out where and why racial disparities exist in smart energy. The speakers also revealed recommendations for stakeholders that wish to better engage and support lower-income Black and POC consumers.
