Beneficial Electrification: The Voice of the Consumer

SECC's Deputy Director Nathan Shannon, joined by Sara Cappe from Maru/Matchbox Public Service Practice and Lee Ann Head from Franklin Energy, explored the new “Beneficial Electrification: The Voice of the Consumer” research that investigated interest in transitioning to electricity in space heating, transportation, cooking and water heating. The speakers also discussed potential barriers to beneficial electrification, how consumers view the role of utilities and government leaders in easing this transition and more.
